Dog Trot
A downloadable game
Introduction
You play as Bucket the musical mutt on a mission to find a book about the French revolution which is said to grant powers. It won't be easy however, as to reach the book bucket will need to climb a towering library and defeat the book guardian Edwin B. Hay.
Gameplay
The gameplay for 'Dog trot' is a mixture of a: platformer, metroidvania and a rhythm game. This blend allows for a unique experience.
Platforming sections
The platforming is done in between the rhythm sections, with each platforming interlude leading to a boss battle.
rhythm section
The sections involving the bosses, changes the gameplay to that of a rythem game. Requiring the player to input buttons in an accurate manner. If this is failed, different results occur.

This was created by three students of Fareham college. This was to take part in a game jam hosted by Portsmouth University.

Install instructions
For people coming across this game in the future, please download the recent version of the game. This is one with no bugs and a better display. This was created after the jam was finished as I wanted to iron out any bugs for future players. A name change happened too, previously being called 'Drop trot'.
